Start by reading all stored and pending codes together. A companion lean, misfire, EVAP, or oxygen-sensor code can change which test should come first.

P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected The PCM detects misfires that are not isolated to one cylinder. P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected The PCM detects a misfire on cylinder 1. P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected The PCM detects a misfire on cylinder 2. P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected The PCM detects a misfire on cylinder 3. P0304 Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected The PCM detects a misfire on cylinder 4. P0305 Cylinder 5 Misfire Detected The PCM detects a misfire on cylinder 5.
