Factory option

1967 Mustang

The fold-down rear seat is a fastback-specific seating and cargo system rather than a simple seatback hinge. Panels, latches, hinges, trim, carpet, trap-door area, and body attachment details should agree.

Missing or converted fastback interiors can be expensive to return to a documented configuration, so completeness is useful buyer information even when production rarity is unknown.

Market United States
Availability Ford listed the Sport Deck rear-seat option as a regular-production option for the fastback model only.
