Factory option
1966 Mustang
Ford lists front disc brakes as a V8 option and marks them unavailable with power brakes. The GT Equipment Group included disc brakes, so separately recorded option installations and package-included cars are different populations.
Calipers, rotors, spindles, master cylinder, proportioning hardware, plumbing, wheels, and package evidence should agree.

- Inspect the complete front-brake system and supporting hydraulic hardware, not just the rotors.
- Determine whether the equipment was ordered separately, included through GT, dealer installed, or added during restoration.
