1966 Mustang
The specialist High Country Mustang history says Ford's Denver zone received 333 cars from the San Jose plant and distributed them through about 100 dealers. Any 1966 powertrain and body style could be represented.
The same specialist site conflicts on body-style mix: its overview says there was one fastback, while a separate article estimates 274 hardtops, 39 convertibles, and 20 fastbacks. Those latter figures sum to 333, but neither derivation is shown, so MustangCarFacts does not present a body-style breakout as settled.
The dealer-installed brass plaques did not have a uniform placement specification. Plaques and paint can be reproduced, so DSO, color, invoice, dealer, registry, and ownership evidence should carry more weight than emblems alone.
