Factory equipment group
The Special Handling Package targeted steering and suspension response. Because related components could also appear with performance engines or the GT Equipment Group, the presence of one heavy-duty part does not prove that the complete package was ordered.
No reliable 1965 package-installation total has been recovered.

Ford defines the separately priced package through increased-rate front and rear springs, larger shocks, a 22:1 overall steering ratio, and a larger front stabilizer bar.
Related equipment was included with other performance combinations, so a useful count must define whether it covers separately priced packages, included equipment, or both.
