Factory equipment group
1966 Mustang
The Sprint 200 paired the standard 200 cid six with body-side accent stripes, a chrome air cleaner and Sprint 200 decal, wire-style wheel covers, and a center console. The Safety Equipment Group accompanied the promotion, although several of those items were already standard for 1966.
MotorTrend's Jim Smart says the package was sold in three-speed-manual and Cruise-O-Matic forms and explicitly notes that no one knows how many fastback Sprints were produced. No public overall Sprint 200 total was found in the sources inspected for this entry, so MustangCarFacts keeps the package visible without inventing an installation number.
