Remote Rev lets equipped cars command engine speed from the remote control when the car is in park and the engine, oil, coolant, catalyst, key, and range conditions are satisfied.

The passive key backup position is in the center console storage compartment under the plastic mat; place the key buttons-up with the unlock button facing forward, then press the brake and push-button start.

If the decklid will not open because the battery is discharged, pull the rear left-side seatback cushion aside, insert the mechanical key blade into the key slot, and turn it to release the latch.

The available drift brake is also for track use only. It enables rear-tire lockup for drift maneuvers and automatically enables track mode when switched on.

Check VIN recall status before delivery and verify any completed recall repair invoices; do not assume another 2024-2026 car's recall list matches this car.

Inspect front splitter, undertray, rocker pinch welds, wheels, tires, brake rotors, calipers, and rear quarters for track or curb damage.

Verify GT, EcoBoost, Dark Horse, GTD, Performance Package, active exhaust, MagneRide, Recaro, and drift-brake claims with window sticker, VIN, equipment, and software menus.

Scan for OBD-II faults/readiness and inspect for tune, emissions, intake, exhaust, wheel/tire, or suspension modifications that could affect warranty or drivability.

Test every electronic feature before signing: cluster, cameras, drive modes, active exhaust, keyless entry, trunk release, software updates, and infotainment reset from the prior owner.

On manual cars, inspect clutch feel, hydraulic line condition, gear engagement, launch-control use evidence, and any signs of overheated driveline parts.
